Plant Selection:

• Prunus lusitanica (Portuguese Laurel): Selected for screening the fence line, Portuguese Laurel is an evergreen with a dense growth habit and elegant dark green foliage. Its hardy nature and fast growth make it an ideal choice for creating privacy while enhancing the garden’s overall aesthetic.

• Phyllostachys aureosulcata ‘Spectabilis’ (Golden Bamboo): For the patio area, this bamboo variety was chosen to add a unique focal point. Its bright yellow-green canes with contrasting green stripes provide an exotic, architectural feature, bringing both height and movement to the space.

• Prunus laurocerasus (Cherry Laurel): Cherry Laurel was also used to further screen the fence line. Known for its fast growth and dense foliage, this evergreen shrub complements the Portuguese Laurel, providing year-round privacy and greenery
